Please let your employees know that all 3 guards that I received fit perfectly. In fact, they fit better than the guards my dentists have made (all required additional grinding or modification to make them fit perfectly). I’ve never ordered mouth guards through the mail, so I was a bit apprehensive. After receiving 3 that fit great and are comfortable, I will be a customer for as long as you continue to make mouth guards. I am a customer for life as long as you keep making mouth guards.

Wonderful!!! I’ve been putting off getting a proper night guard for a long time, because my dentist quoted me $500 (after insurance!) and because the over-the-counter options were too bulky for my small mouth that I didn’t want to spend so much on something that wouldn’t work. but when I had ground through several tooth-whitening trays, I knew it was time to upgrade.

They send you an impression kit first, which is easy to use. You ship it back to them (free postage), and then you get your night guard a few days later.

It’s thick and sturdy, but not bulky. I physically can’t grind my teeth while wearing it–but it doesn’t prop my jaw in an uncomfortable position the way some of the OTC options did.

I wish I had found out about this option sooner. I’m thrilled to pieces.

The molding kit came in the mail within two days! We mailed out the finished mold the same day and the night guard arrived quickly. The mold instructions were clear and easy to follow and the process was simple to accomplish on the first try. Because the guard is nice and low profile, they’re easy to sleep with and they don’t interfere with breathing. At this price, I’m not buying from my dentist again.

Great grind guard and well worth the price.
I have used this kit, and then I bought one for my husband. I believe it is the same as if I paid four or five hundred from a dentist. I’ve had mine for three plus years, and my husband for 2. We chose the soft option and they have held up and have their original shape today. Great product!! I tried the kind you buy at the store, different makes and models. They never fit right and actually caused me to clinch more in my sleep. This night guard doesn’t do that. I guess having an accurate fit makes a difference. This works for my family.

The dental mail service was so convenient and I was so glad that I found it within the Amazon website. I am also very thankful that I did not have to pay the retail price which was a plus (+) to my budget. The package included an easy to follow instruction and I initially dreaded that I cannot follow through, but when I started the procedure as dictated on the instruction it was so easy. I returned the finished wax to the dental lab via return post paid mail and in no time approximately two weeks they returned the finished product. Upon receipt of the finished product, I immediately tried it on for a fit and it was perfect. And just in time of this review, I was preparing to order a second pair for later use as the dental lab will maintain the dental wax for three months.

The right choice for me!

Buying this product takes a bit of a leap of faith, since it’s a kit and you have to send away for it, but I am very happy with how it’s turned out. The kit is simple enough to do, as long as you can follow instructions. (I watched instructional videos on youtube before creating the mold to help supplement the written instructions that come with the kit.) My mouth guard came back within 2 weeks of shipping out the kit. It is a clear, soft and durable piece of plastic that fits super comfortably in my mouth, over my bottom teeth. It is easy to sleep with and stays in place even when I’m talking. (So pillow talk is still possible while wearing it, if that’s important to you!) It’s very soft and very thin so that it isn’t abrasive against your gums or inner cheeks (it isn’t rough/hard like an athletic mouth guard can be). But it definitely feels durable enough that it’ll last as long as I don’t put it in a food processor or anything.

I had spent $300 this fall repairing teeth where I’d worn through the enamel with my grinding. My dentist didn’t push an expensive nightguard on me, but simply recommended I pick one up at the pharmacy. I got the most expensive one they sold–the SleepRight Dura Comfort guard. $50 down the drain. The SleepRight is a good idea in theory, but it’s awkward to talk with, doesn’t stay in place well, and every morning I woke up to find that my bite was out of alignment and I couldn’t chew my breakfast correctly, so it was essentially useless. I’m glad I came across the Primdent guard. I’ve used it for a week now and so far, so good!

Very comfortable

The whole process was really easy. The night guard is comfortable, and took me no time to adjust to it. I bought a night guard from the drug store in the past, and it was so uncomfortable that I gave up.

I have tried several over the counter night guards since my insurance did not cover a custom one. The fitting was quick and easy and the instructions were easy to understand. The night guard is not as bulky as others you can find over the counter. The quality is great and fits perfectly. I don’t have problems sleeping with this.

very pleased with this product

I ordered the soft night guard because I had developed TMJ problems from clenching. The night guard made a difference from the first night! I did not wake up with a sore TMJ. I made a mold of my lower teeth. The night guard fits snugly and is not uncomfortable. I have only been using it for one week, but so far I am more than happy with it.

When the mold kit first arrived, I misunderstood the instructions and sent in the wrong piece. They were nice enough to send another mold kit for free so I could remold my jaw. I received my guard about a week after I sent it in and it works great. I’ve had it for about three months now and I use it about 2 or 3 nights a week. It’s still in great condition and my headaches from teeth grinding have vanished. Would recommend this product for sure.
